Quest’anno i Grammy si terranno il 12 Febbraio ancora una volta presso lo Staples Center di Los Angeles, California.
Il Premio Grammy è uno dei premi più importanti degli Stati Uniti, considerato equivalente ai premi Oscar per il cinema. Il nome originale del premio era Gramophone Award.
I Grammy vengono consegnati per 105 diverse categorie di contributi, suddivise rispetto a 30 generi musicali, dal pop al gospel all’hip hop.
Come nel caso degli Oscar, la scelta del vincitore è affidata a una votazione di esperti (in questo caso membri della Recording Academy).
